Transcription Rates

 

Our transcription services are bespoke and tailored to meet the needs of each of our clients.

Our rates depend on a several variables, including the type of work, number of speakers, clarity of the spoken voice plus the length and format of the recording, and of course the urgency. Each job can be very different and the time to transcribe also varies, however it generally takes between three to five times the length of the recording.

 

For urgent deadlines we offer a fast track service at a higher rate and this is particularly true if the work that is required overnight or at the weekends. Please call us for more details.

 

Please remember that it is essential that you always contact us and book your work into our schedule prior to sending anything. If you do not call beforehand then your work may be overlooked and not processed in the time required especially if you need an 'express' turnaround service.


We will require an official written confirmation of your booking or an authorised purchase order before the work is started. This can be faxed or e-mailed to us as a scanned document or PDF.

 

Payment Terms

 

An itemised invoice will be supplied with every completed transcription. For account clients we request that payment is made promptly within 28 days from receipt of invoice. We accept Cheque or BACS or PAYPAL as standard plus Visa with an additional processing fee .

 

For new clients without an account we require a 50% advance payment by Visa or PAYPAL with the balance to be settled within 28 days of receipt of invoice.


All new account clients will need to complete an account application form and pay an advance payment of 50% with their first booking. Please request an account application form which will be to be sent to you. Please state the status of your organisation, company or sole trader so that we send the right form.

 

We reserve the right to claim statutory interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate on any debt that becomes overdue.plus debt recovery compensation in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
